We had our daughters first birthday here. We have been trying to find a good restaurant with tasty food, low commute and good pricing and Igrill fits all criteria perfectly. It's fairly easy to schedule for an event with Suraj and easy to pay online as well. There are no hidden costs and everything is clearly detailed out in the menu offered online. We wanted to throw our babyshower but ended up doing it in our backyard as I wanted to stay at home to avoid any emergencies so fast forward a year we want back to igrill as our choice to host our daughter's birthday. We had 70 adults and about 25 kids and almost every one of our guests raves about the food we had for dinner. The babycorn manchurian, the paneer and chicken appetizers made everyone asking for more! Some folks even commented that the dal was authentic! We served the double ka meetha instead of the carrot Halwa and definitely recommend it if you are planning to host an event here. We also served beer and wine and were charged based on bottles consumed. Totally loved everything from pre event support, in event service and post event coordination of payments. Very easy to work with! Also the hall looked bful for our honeybee themed party! We also have come here as diners individually and everytime we come here have loved the appetizers and the consistency in flavors. A good hidden gem with lots of parking in between Santa Clara and San Jose's!

Have been there for a weekend lunch buffet - this is my first visit with high expectations, having looked at the ratings. What I liked:Sambhar (lentil soup from South India)What I did not like:Everything else. We were one of the first customers on the day. All the starters (Chicken kebabs, fish fry, baby corn fry, paneer tikka) were cold to touch and the taste was meagre.Butter chicken pieces are rubbery and clearly felt that they were just dumped into the gravy after preparing separately.Chicken Biryani was spicy but lacked some flavor, the meat itself was rubbery.Onion rings and fish fry didn't seem like they were fried in fresh oil, slightly bitter.Overall, I think there are better buffets than igrill, at a lower or same price.

These guys now go with a new name, "Temptations Kababs" - but their attitude and quality are the same. I ordered four items for delivery via Doordash and they call me and tell me, two of them are not available. Why advertise things which you never have? This was the same story with IGrill - I assumed they had new management which was more professional, clearly not the case. The least they could've done was cancel my order - like they promised - even which they did not. I had to get on the phone with Doordash support and have my order canceled. I highly recommend not ordering anything from this place for delivery, they wasted my time and were not even the least bit apologetic.

*Vegetarian 30-Day Challenge: Review 10 of 30*Ladies and Gents, I think we have a new champ in the world of Indian buffets! iGrill is probably the most unlikely of competitors, as the location is ridiculously randomly located in an industrial/commercial part of town that literally nobody lives in.But those two factors haven't stopped them from becoming one of the best Indian buffets I've ever had and to top it all off their veg-head selection is equal to their meat-head section. Vegetarians will find all manners of Indian favorites, like tandoori paneer, paneer makhani, grilled vegetables, daal (lentils), saag (spinach) and a changing lineup of fried veggies, as well. My only complaint is some of the dishes can be a touch salty, but the good thing is they're not afraid to bring the spice! So make sure you pack your flushable Cottonelle wet wipes for later, playa...

Came for an early lunch w/ co-workers on a Thursday afternoon. Their lunch buffet was AWESOME! The line does take a while to move, so I would highly recommend on grabbing as much as you can the first round. Because you might not want to wait in the long line again to seconds. They have all of their veggie options first and the meat options are at the end of the line. Naan is located on the middle table. They have a small dispenser with Chai tea on the side. It's a great place to come for lunch, I would highly recommend it! The food was superb, it didn't taste like it was massed produced (without love and care). ~~Parking: Located in a plaza, so there's shared parking~~Service: Superb! Came at around 11:45 Am and they were able to put a table together for my team in less than 15 min after they said that it might take 30 min for us to be seated. ~~Best Part: The fact that my team and I didn't have a reservation and they were able to put together a table that was able to accommodate our needs (there were 10 of us)~~Tips: If you have a large party and are planning on coming for lunch, make a RESERVATION through OpenTable.~~Return: Yes!

This Indian restaurant is located in a alcove-like complex that is a little difficult to find during night. We were a party of two on a weekday evening for trying out dinner. The place was half full and most of the tables were occupied on one half of the restaurant and the lights were also illuminated on that half. We waited for a while before being seated as the table that we were seated was getting cleaned up. We ordered Chicken Biryani and chicken chettinad curry as entrees. The entrees don't come with rice as is the norm in some other Indian restaurants and the rice dishes need to be ordered separately. The biryani is cooked in a South Indian recipe and tastes quite delicious. The portion size is also quite sufficient for two persons. The chicken chettinad curry also tastes great but the portion size is a little small compared to what I am accustomed in other places.

Went there based on some of the better reviews.  We did the lunch buffet. I am afraid it was a huge disappointment. Not many entree choices for vegetarians. Gobi 65, onion pakora and tandoori paneer were REALLY dry and tough. They also decided to not keep the food warm ( in honor of the weather maybe? ) The others with me drank copious amounts of tea so that was one positive. The people were friendly so the two stars are for them (only). Will not visit again.

Exact reason why I used the word liars. I was using restaurant.com coupon and not Groupon.  She came back and told owner is saying we don't use restaurant.com. You should not hire people who are not interested in working. This is a common feeling among more than 10 family i know. They all had to dealwith your rude staff.

Was it a tad pricey for a lunch buffet? Yes! BUT, I had no regrets here. The quality of their food was amazing. I liked how they split the meat and vegetarian dishes down the middle as well. I really enjoyed their biriyani and tikka paneer! Overall their food was very flavorful and I loved the spice level for everything. Hot but not too scorching. It's also pretty neat that they have a hot plate with assorted veggies, such as baby corn and eggplant! If you're looking for a delicious Indian buffet, this is your place!

Pretty good Indian buffet with a variety of Indian cuisines. It gets crowded during lunchtime but nonetheless the service is still great. I like that they always ask me how I felt about today's food when I'm paying, shows that they do care about the food quality.Parking is easy in the plaza at all times.Take out for the buffet is available.

5 stars for food! Hands down some of the tastiest, freshly made Indian food in the Bay Area.  Nice, easy access hall with very nice decor.4 stars for service as we rented entire restaurant secondary to confusion, tons of miscommunication, and a lack of honesty? The staff couldn't figure out exactly what the capacity of the hall/restaurant was...THAT being said, the minus 1 star is probably because it took multiple clarifications on simple questions.  However, the staff was accommodating as possible in most areas. I would recommend getting a contract and in writing for best results all around.Final statement:DON'T miss your chance to book a great hall with amazing good and kind staff.

This place was highly recommended and my friends never mislead me or let me down. Stopped in here with several work colleagues and had the all you can eat Buffett.  We were the first to arrive so our dinning experince felt like we were VIPs. The food was served straight out of the kitchen. Everything was wonderfully delicious! The Dal Malham was by far the best I ever had. I highly recommend you check them out.

I came here for lunch today with my coworker and the food was great! We had the buffet and I had the chicken tiki masala, butter chicken and curry goat.  I don't usually have buffet but it was delicious and the line flowed very well.  I could only eat one plate and had to try the deserts. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back with my family.

We ordered catering from IGrill for our baby shower. Everyone loved the food except few found it a little spicy. The chef made a special sweet dish upon request named "Semaya Kesari". The Malai kofta, Bhagara Beaigan and Biryani were delicious and presented well. Suraj was very accommodative to our requests. IGrill proved to be very professional and punctual with no last minute surprises or issues. Over all I would definitely recommend IGrill.

Went for lunch buffet. Food is okay and very expensive. 18$ for lunch buffet which has 15-20 options is not cool

This restaurant was one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the area as they had good biryani and lehsuni murgh. Today, I was totally disappointed with the food. We went for early lunch buffet. Even though it was first service, all the food didn't seem fresh. Almost all the items seemed stale and cold with caked layer formed on each food. Butter chicken tasted like tomato purée. Even the water on the table tasted weird as if it had chlorine.

Anila G.

I booked a table for 15 people for a surprise 40th. Suraj was very helpful and professional in setting it up.The food was really good - I know my family will be visiting again. The service was attentive and I have absolutely no complaints. It ended up being a perfect evening for us. I would definitely recommend iGrill if you need a venue for a special occasion.

Karen G.

Food is amazing. Many vegetarian options on buffet - some I've never seen anywhere else. Buffet food is actually hot.  I'm not from San Jose but this place is almost worth a visit to this city just for the food!

Brandon L.

Ridiculous wait time staff is highly unprofessional. Place is dark and empty. The only noise you hear is the kitchen banging things around. For one small order of curry it took almost 35 mins. Curry is made ahead of time. Horrible place. I don't reccomend anyone come here
